HAPZY, Lda (“HAPZY” or “We“) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information through our compliance with the best practices.

You submit User Contributions for posting and transmission to others at your own risk. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of any Website users with whom you choose to share your User Contributions. We are based in Portugal. We may process, store, and transfer the personal data we collect, in and to a country outside your own, with different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as your own. However, no matter the country your personal data is transferred to, we guarantee compliance with data protection legislation from your country of origin.

You can access, review, and change your personal data by logging into the App and visiting your account profile page.

We may not accommodate a request to change or delete information if we believe the change or deletion would violate any law or legal requirement or negatively impact the information’s accuracy.

HAPZY complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other Privacy Laws. 

We act as Data Controllers, as defined under the GDPR, and we process personal data based on our legitimate interests and for contractual necessity, as described in “How We Use Your Data”. We also process and share information based on notification and users’ consent, which our users may revoke at any time.

HAPZY is responsible for the processing of personal information we receive or subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on our behalf. 

Whether your information is transferred to anywhere outside the EU, HAPZY will treat your information the same way as if it’s located within those geographic areas.

  • Data Security

The security of your personal data is very important to us. We use physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to our App. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk. We are not responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.
